Dear Vern:
You've been around this looney family longer than I have! God bless!! I still remember our first meeting in 1981. You were living behind Thelma's (Gramma T's) home. It was so good for her to have you around for repairs, reassurance, help with the girls and just general company. I know how much she appreciated you there. I'm sure you received an ear full as the years passed. Please give her a big hug from us. We miss her terribly... You were always a wonderful, bright spot in any day. Always with a smile no matter what was going on in your life, at every wedding, party, holiday celebration, get together... just ALWAYS! Making the best of every day... Wow! What a way to live your life!
Thank you for loving your daughters and being there for them anytime they needed you. Even though they don't particularly see eye to eye most of the time, they need to know they are still sisters... family... and they had you as their rock. Hopefully, someday they will realize there is nothing more important than family... a rule you lived by.
Now you can breathe, dance and watch over those of us you left behind... Why is it always harder on us?
