Trips to Visit Kathy at Fort Jackson, SC

Mickey was always a great traveler and provided a lot of company to me on the long trips to Fort Jackson, SC to visit Kathy while she was in Advanced Individual Training.  Normally,  I would proceed on the trip immediately following a work week on Friday nights and the trip was a long 6 hours.  Mickey was always good about listening to me and when he would get tired he would crawl up in the blankets that I would bring with us and when I made a pit stop he would hop out do his business and get ready to hit the road again.  Without Mickey this trip would have been very lonely.
